Mobi The Ending Series: The Complete Series with Free EASY Reading!

I love a good read. And have always finished any book I have started, even if it's just ok, because if I have invested myself in a story/plot/characters, I want to know how it all ends...UNTIL NOW. I have only made it about 10% into the first book and I just can't bring myself to push through any further. I JUST DON'T CARE what happens in this post-apocalyptic world. Good grief, within 10 pages of beginning the book, 90% of the US is dead from some unknown virus, and the rest just aren't. There's no real development of character. The story is chaotic and not in a good way. There are several attempts at sarcasm that sound like a 13 year old wrote them. There is plenty of gratuitous foul language, and, oh, let's not forget the 19year old (sub-character) with a big chip on her shoulder whose main purpose is to lure any guy she wants into bed (that's putting it nicely). Forget that she supposed to be some highly trained special forces fighter. Then, you have the two main females on opposite ends of the country trying to make it to the same place communicating over email. NO OTHER electronics or any other form of communication works, but email does. Whew! Thank goodness for that! (eye roll). Even their communications are cliche of young teens, not the 20-somethings they are supposed to be. I could go on and on. The only reason I gave it any star, is that I couldn't give it no star. I have tried to like this. I really have. But, I just can't. It's just so stupid. If you are considering buying this, even if it's on sale, DON'T!! Save your money!
