I didn't want to finish this book I loved it so much. I can't wait to read ALL of James Herriot's other books. The only "me time" I get is reading before bed. This is one of those books that makes you want to go to bed early so you can get more reading time before you fall asleep. Each chapter is a different animal story, all told with his brilliant English humor. And I learned quite a lot about farm animals I might add. If you love animals, you will love this book.
